Ryan and Kayla came to Portland and hit a home run. With a highly relatable tone, disarming humor and the credibility of having learned some of these lessons the hard way, Ryan and Kayla gave us a holistic road map on how not to merely understand children with traumatic backgrounds, but how to engage, connect and attach.
It was an absolute gift to have Kayla at our moms' retreat. She beautifully wove together her personal experiences, truth from God's word, and wisdom with empathy that comes from being in the trenches. Each woman felt seen and known by her, not just from stage, but connecting with them throughout our time together.
