BECOMING TRAUMA-INFORMED: HELPING KIDS FEEL SAFE AT CHURCH

Presented By

We know that Childrenā€™s Ministry is a vital part of the church. It is why families start to attend and unfortunately why they sometimes choose to leave. Parents want to be a part of a church where their children feel safe and loved.

Our early relationships set the tone for how we trust, set boundaries, and connect in relationship with others. Our childhood experiences, good and bad, greatly impact who we become. Understanding trauma and its impacts on behaviors and relationships is key to helping us love others as Jesus loves us.

This training will cover:

  • Risk factors for trauma
  • Adverse Childhood Experiences
  • The impact of trauma
  • How fear drives behavior
  • Practical strategies to connect in relationship

Ryan and Kayla North have trained churches in trauma across the country for years and are now making this transformational training available via webcast. This training is for anyone who works with children at your church.

REGISTER TODAY and make your church a place where children feel safe, connect in relationship, and grow.

This eye-opening training will equip pastors, ministry leaders, and volunteers to see the connection between childhood experiences and the ability to facilitate healthy, loving relationships. They will leave equipped to better serve those who have experienced trauma.

We know that it’s hard to get staff and volunteers to add another thing to their already busy schedules. That is why we’re making this THREE HOUR TRAINING available for FIVE CONSECUTIVE WEEKENDS in March.

Just choose which week you’d like to host the event and we’ll send you the link and password 48 hours before the stream goes live. You will have access to the content from 12:00 am on Thursday through midnight on Monday.

That’s 96 hours of access to the content, allowing you to have complete control of when you offer the training for only $150. You may offer it multiple times at a single location during those 96 hours.

This was a phenomenal training. We brought it to our entire church staff, volunteers, etc. and it was better than we could have dreamed. We had such great feedback. Highly recommend!

Erin Brothers, North Way Christian Community

Our team and those from the other churches were blessed to receive such expert and applicable training. Everyone present walked away with specific strategies to implement in their ministries to support families in caring well for their kids, not to mention the practicality of how I can parent better at home. Kudos to the Ryan and Kayla for the stellar way that are leading in transforming our city and beyond.

Jeremy Varnell, Children’s Pastor, Irving Bible Church

Ryan and Kayla came to Portland and hit a home run! With a highly relatable tone, disarming humor and the credibility of having learned some of these lessons the hard way, Ryan and Kayla gave us a holistic road map on how not to merely understand and tolerate children with traumatic backgrounds, but how to engage, connect and attach.
